We have become a "banana republic"

When politicians, such as John Murtha, freely abuse the authority of thier office the Republic is in grave danger. Here is a case in point.




Those who cannot be trusted with the simple activity of accurately counting the votes on a measure have no business partaking in the legislative process. It is madness to hold otherwise. I repeat, our Republic is in grave danger. It seems the flatulant representative, Murtha, believes the dictatorship is already well underway and he is therefore not constrained by the niceties of parlimentary procedure or reality. Be afraid. Be very afraid, because their revolution will not be televised. We will awaken one sunnny morning and find ourselves and our families in servitude to sinister tyrants.
